SnowKing Mountain

We spent the day at Snow King Ski Resort, located in Jackson Hole at the literal 'edge of town'. The main photo shows a snow blowing machine putting down some nice powder for mostly kids on a beginners' slope. Although the temperatures are perfect for snowfall, sadly the air is very dry so there's no new white stuff for hundreds of eager skiers. C and I took a gondola ride up to the top of Snow King Mountain to enjoy the great views of the Rocky Mountain Range and watch parents teaching their children the finer points of skiing. See the *extras... We also spent some fun time zooming down the slopes on snow tubes, since neither of us skies in this life, also see the *extra... Tomorrow our plan is to spend time perusing the shops and galleries in town and to visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Both of us are really looking forward to that!
