Number147

Saturday

Clive took Hetty up on to the hill while I dismantled Christmas. It's a little early but I want it out of the way now.

I've just taken a cardboard star, made by 5 year old Alfie, more than 25 years ago, down from the tree and my heart flipped. That gorgeous little blonde chap.

Enough.

Miserable day again.

The town is being dug up.

I'm expecting Louise, Tom and Clare this afternoon. That'll be fun!

The blue house caused much annoyance to the Trust for Devizes when it was painted. At the time, it was owned by my ex S-in-L. She won the battle. It's a heritage colour. I like it very much.
