With a Rose

Thought I would try a bit of macro, inspired by Aliscotia, using this little lady as my model. It takes a while to set up the tripod and get the lighting right. It's a good learning task.

Another day loafing about. When I was in France before Christmas I was talking to a local lady who said that she didnt go out for 6 weeks in mid winter. "J'hiberne" she said. I worked out that this meant to hibernate. I know the feeling. 

I think it's to do with my crocked calf muscle (See December 10) plus a continuing hacking cough. It won't be long before I get stir crazy and get out again.
