Getting into the spirit

After another full-on day at work, it was a relief to switch off and head to the Sol Sky Bar. G had an engagement but joined us later. (Her new Iranian kids' parents invited her for a meal.)

I met up with ex-colleague Farzan, who brought her guest, Peter. Peter is also one of our trainers, so it was good to chat with him about some of the challenges he's been facing. The weather has finally cooled down, giving us a breeze. I wish I'd worn my fleece!

We left late, having chatted and chatted about everything under the sun. Farzan drove herself home. We drove Peter back to his hotel on the Palm, finally getting home ourselves at 2 AM. Phew!

These snowmen at the entrance to the hotel greeted us nicely. :)
