My topsy-turvy life

We didn't get up to too much today. A morning putting away Christmas decorations, and then we decided to get out for a bit of fresh air and go for a walk, suitably attired of course. Given a few options, Owen decided on a trip to Nesscliffe and a walk up to Oliver's Owen's Point past the old roman hill fort. Somehow we've never walked that way before and Owen was very impressed with how high we were, although he didn't want to pose for a picture at the top.

Then it was back home for our New Year's Eve curry, family board games -What's That Smell? seemed to be a roaring success. Aaron joined us in watching The Big Fat Quiz of the Year before watching the fireworks from London with a glass of Christmas mead.
Low-key but nice to appreciate a little bit of family time at the end of the year.
