Damp squib

A New Year's Day that ended up with not a lot achieved. 
I intended to do parkrun this morning but Shrewsbury was rained off (obviously) and Telford seemed too far to drag everyone to at that time in the morning. 
I suggested going to the football but didn't get tickets and Aaron wasn't awake in time anyway. 
We did manage to get out for a 'towny' walk later on to see The Quarry partially flooded by the bloated river Severn, but by the time we got back I had a headache that escalated from a 10 minute lie down to 3 and a half hours in bed.
Well, the year can only get better...
