New Years Day Walk

A wet and breezy start to the New Year with a walk to the top of the nearby Roundhill in the company of local friends and their collection of dogs. The dogs seemed to have a fine time despite, or possibly because of the mud.

The walk took much longer than it usually takes me as everyone in the village seemed to have the same idea and we ended up stopping every few hundred yards to chat and share best wishes for the New Year.
