Helping Hand

It was my running club's annual New Years Day 10km race this morning.  It was  a glorious day but with a strong wind in the face of the runners at this point on the course. 
I could have featured the leaders but they get all the glory so I thought I would blip these two, helping each other up the long climb to the top, where I was marshalling and taking pics when able.  They were towards the back of the pack but that does not matter.  They were doing something they enjoyed which is great. They embodied the spirit of running.
