Sorry - l can't return any comments meantime because l'm having to go to the Hoy Pier to get online.

We visited the Old Man of Hoy in superb conditions.   Flat calm and sunny (much deserved).  Disappointingly we couldn't pick out Sule Skerry, maybe we needed to be up on top of the Cuillags.

At the Old Man we met a young Polish woman who is camping in Rackwick.  On the way back to Rackwick we went to first foot Errol.  He pours big drams. I met in with Alastair Cameron and he gave me an annual* update. CMC drove home.  After a snack we went to firstfoot CMC's nephew and family.

CMC made a superb tea then retired with her 'Caving in Yugoslavia' 1964 Ed.
