A Life Pier

A brief shaft of sunlight on a day as dull as the proverbial ditchwater, not Bayswater.  The highlight was my mother’s monologue (she was born before stereo) which we walked in on and which she carried on incessantly (spell check suggests inessentially).  She said she had spent a lovely day knitting with Linda, her ex neighbour in Ellon  They haven’t met for about 8 years.  Such is the pattern of life
 
I think a few days in Hoy are essential.  Very few bipeds realise this.  Or anything meaningful.
