Neighbour's fireworks

We didn't have our own, but the fireworks of the two nearest neighbours were well visible to our yard and at least another two less so. Clear weather made it easier to see them, but watching and shooting for ten minutes was enough in below -20°C temperature.

It was -23°C in the morning and "up" to -20°C in the afternoon. Now it's getting colder than last night. Obviously the cowshed is getting colder, too. For the first time it was lower than -2°C, down to -3.5°C both in the morning and in the evening, but sun helped it get a little warmer in the day. The garage part is at +1°C.

I didn't have a good start to the new year. Soon after waking up, a joint in my left forefinger snapped and hurt without any external reason. It got better soon, but there's some sort of nerve pain all the way from the forefinger to the elbow and it has been more or less impossible to grab anything with the left hand all day. I think I must see a doctor soon.
