Happy New Year!

My white amaryllis opened up fully in the sun today. It was a cool day but a lovely, sunny way to start the new year. I love the green at the throat of this blossom...luscious! 


I went for a long walk, cleaned out my freezer and my bathroom cupboard. Suffice it to say that I have a lot more room in both now ;-) Otherwise a quiet day - looking forward to getting the baseball bat cast off of my thumb/wrist tomorrow...changing out to a much smaller splint. I'll feel like a new woman!
