The morning after the night before

Well I should say afternoon; Max slept until 1.30pm! A full 12 hours after going to bed.

We were all feeling very tired and lazy but, after attacking a Christmas tree brioche, we forced ourselves outside for some fresh air.

The rest of the day was relaxing, we caught up with the next door neighbours over a cuppa and a mince pie.
The kids and I then found Danny the Champion of the World on YouTube; the 1989 classic that I had loved as a child. Max has just finished reading the book with Daddy.
