Do You Like My Hair Slide?

We were on the road before 10am heading south for  a few days with No1 son and family.
The road from Livingston to Abingdon and the M74 was dead which was a good start.
It didn't last though because the rain came down and got steadily worse.
Crossing the Pennines on the A66 was done inside the clouds .... wet clouds.
I was amazed that we managed to get to Rotherham in one piece with the lunatics travelling without using lights or mirrors and thinking the best thing to do was drive as fast as possible to get out of the spray and rain as quickly as possible and move into gaps that really, weren't there!

But made it we did and both the grandchildren have been wonderful and great fun. Bunny particularly has been wonderful. She can be very shy but certainly wasn't today. It was she who insisted on putting the hair-slide in my 'hair' - I think it was attached to 1 hair.
