A Bright Spot on a Dreich Day.

I have some sort of bronchitis and even postponed a lunch date with a good friend as I really don’t want to give her or anyone any bug.    So I never went out in the drizzle and grayness.   Worked on the puzzle (WE worked on the puzzle!  of course we can do it) and read books and not much else.  A little nap.  I thought this was an amazingly bright contrast to today. … the latest book by Oliver Jeffers…”Begin Again.  How we got here and where we might go-our human story.  so far.”  It’s a positive message for all ages.   Have had quite a few of his wonderfully illustrated books over the years and just gave the girls a couple of old ones they’ve enjoyed in our "Christmas from our bookshelves…"
