Thwarted

After the seemingly interminable grey skies of the past few days, I was delighted to spot a few patches of blue this afternoon. We set off for a walk to the Post Office to post a parcel, but of course by the time we’d done that there was no blue sky left to be seen. 

On our way back home Smithers popped in to the convenience store at the Broadway to buy some milk, while I wandered off to try and find even the tiniest piece of blue sky to blip. I headed for the underground station car park but the best I could do was take this shot which, on looking at it back home on my computer, looks rather like a prison setting, with its barbed wire and overhead gantry!
