Puddings

Passing through London Bridge on my way to look after two of the grandchildren for the day. I braved it and took them for a train adventure up to Charing Cross station and from there to Fotnum and Mason to see the puddings.

Apparently they have an installation art piece comprising several suspended model Christmas puddings which go up and down above the central spiral staircase. Others have said what a spectacle it is.

The friendly top hatted doorman told us that we were in luck because it was the last pudding day. However when we went in to the beautiful store there was no sign of them and one of the red coated ushers explained that they had already stopped and were being taken down tonight. So we never saw them.

Still, the little ones were entranced by the beautiful foods and chocolates on display.

A fun day looking after the grandies.
