Musical Bokeh

It's my choir's "New Year's Social" tonight, being held in a local pub restaurant, so I thought I do something quick and vaguely musical for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday challenge.

Accordingly, I dug out the f/1.8 nifty fifty and fired off a few in-camera out of focus double-exposure shots of the Christmas tree (which comes down tomorrow!), using a hand-made template of a quaver (or 1/4 note) for one of the shots, to give this bokeh-inspired image. Lots of colour farnarkling in Lightroom completed the job - I could have played for hours with different colour combinations, but need to get ready to go out!
