Incessant rain

Took Car to be serviced this morning. They said it would take 1 hour, but when we got there they said 2. Would have had a courtesy car if I'd known.

Luckily there were a few stores,up the road, to waste time in Dunelm, Pavels, The Range, Matalan etc.

Started to rain heavily and has been tipping it down ever since. Had my waterproof fishing Mac on, Mr B got pretty wet – but never seems to bother him. He walked around outside, refusing to come in the shops.

There's been significant flooding around the region, including Bournemouth. I've seen photos and videos of cars ½ submerged in water, others driving through a few inches of water. All the trains from Bournemouth to London have been cancelled this evening.

Blip (not brilliant) was taken in Westbourne, early afternoon, I bet the road was even more flooded later on. Have heard from friends who have struggled to get home.

Hope fellow Blippers haven’t been badly affected.
