Sunday logistics

An early ferry back from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam, to begin preparations for my next work trip this evening. Let a Sunday in the near future go by without some such logistical consideration.

One of the slowest ever immigration procedures at Nairobi airport, taking around two hours from plane to luggage carousel. I realised that unfashionable airlines (Air Tanzania, the national carrier) are shoved into the slow, shoddy terminal. At least in the queue I bumped into a Zambian colleague attending the same meeting, so we could console each other and chat as the line moved interminably forward.
