When The Boat Comes In!

It’s been the longest week of the year so far!  Mrs CBL and I haven’t been out of the house as it has been so wet and windy every day!!

Today, which was a little drier and less windy, we made a break for it and drove into Aberdeen for the messages.  After coffees and treats we walked along the Beach Boulevard towards Footdee/Fittie the old fishing village at the mouth of the River Dee.

There is a new ‘development at the end of the Beach Boulevard ’ as you approach Fittie.  Several entrepreneurs have been given licenses to sell food and drink from, for the most part, converted horseboxes.  There are a couple of saunas too!  Exciting!!
