Dreich Day

After two very bright and sunny days it was rather dreich today, although there were occasional glimpses of the sun early in the morning.  Mrs CBL and I got caught out at the far end of the beach in one, thankfully, short-lived shower.  

It was good to be back on the beach after last week’s days of rain. I think the mono version made this scene look a little more atmospheric.

P.S. I see from your comments that I have reached another blip birthday.  I am very grateful to those of you who follow my journal for your encouragement and kindness, they are very much appreciated!
