Checking ....

I went for swim first thing before we headed over to Dundee to see the Tartan Exhibition at the V&A. It closes next week and so, for us, it was now or never. It also gave us an opportunity to use our new Art Passes, a present from A.

The exhibition was really interesting, focusing on different aspects of tartan and certainly gave us much to talk about. We also had lunch there - really delicious baguettes and soup. Afterwards we had a stroll around Dundee, a coffee in a former bank in Reform Street and made a quick visit to the Old Howff, where various ancestors are buried. There is even a headstone for one - my 4th great grand-aunt and her family which I managed to find (again).

On the way back we stopped at the Antiques Centre at Abernyte and then the Tescos in Blairgowrie for a "big shop".  A grand day out.

Off now to finish watching "Fool Me Once"  - we're finding it rather enjoyable albeit somewhat unbelievable and I want to get it finished before I inadvertently open one of the spoilers which are appearing with increased regularity on the Facebook Feed.
