Christmas Elves

My friend, C, asked to meet me for coffee this morning. She came to my house and talked for a couple of hours about how concerned she is over  her partner, who was diagnosed with dementia nearly a year ago. She is worried  she is at risk of becoming his full-time  carer; not a role  she wants.  I wondered if she might  seek some help from a care agency, so her partner gets used to having  someone else around, providing companionship/assisting him, even if he he requires  little help at present. The tricky part is finding the "right " person.
  
These little elves were sent to us by our Finnish friends many years ago, and make an appearance every Christmas. Nearly time for them to return to their  box again!
