Snowman on the font

Basil and I went to St Botolph's this morning. It's opening as a warm hub on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The heat hit me as we walked in.

Steven was there but not Colin. Two new tea ladies: Christine and Jane and a big bag of dolly mixture left over after the Christingle services on Christmas Eve.

The shepherds have left the crib and been replaced by the three Magi as it's January 6th. I learned about Candlemas today which occurs in February. In former times, Christmas decorations were not removed until Candlemas so there is a precedent for leaving the lights up until then.
