A few miles/feet.

       Most of the day we could not see across to The Beacon.  Then slightly p.m. I had a "run" out to the Milkery, where I was pretty close to "above the cloud". 
       I was very tempted to take a mad dash up to the top of Hartside for a look towards Scotland.  If there's another I might just try it.
