Enjoying the countreeside

After a very lazy morning involving Many Cups of Tea, and once the heavy frost had melted, @BikerBabe and I cycled out to Dalkeith to see the palace and to have a late lunch at Restoration Yard.  It was very busy and a bit noisy, so we wandered around for a time, then managed to get a table.  Lunch was excellent.  Afterwards, I led the way through Eskbank to pick up the old railway path, which we followed for several miles, enjoying the trees and fresh air and peace and quiet, while the sun was going down with a lovely sunset.
