Web

In the garden this morning, sitting in the shade for a while, pondering the many meanings, new and old, of 'web': family, friends, the internet, links spreading out around the world, new ones being added all the time. This one, woven by a spider in the rosemary bush where I was sitting, spells horror too for its prey.

Weaving the light and dark sides together, I thought of my brilliant writing and film-making son-in-law, S, who's working hard to launch a web-based Banshee game and horror film - his kickstarter page is here if you have a minute to see what he's up to. Lo Jardinièr has posted a wonderful botanical horror story on his blog, too, in support.
