For better, for worse

A bitterly cold North Easterly wind accompanied us, so I sheltered under the trees around the perimeter of the heath, then walked down the railway track to the river Bovey for Indie to have a wash off. Where is'nt frozen is extremely muddy.
Mum had a chiropody apt at 12noon. Katrina was late arriving, & I needed to get away as hubby had Geriatric medicine apt at Torbay at 2pm. Gave her a quick call. It was the first home visit for Mum so I wanted to be there. 5mins later she arrived.
Home, quick snack, drive down to Torbay. No he did'nt want me to go in with him, so I drove across to Sainsbury's to grab a few bits, then waited for his call. Some Parkinson's early symptoms, but going to wait for his physio to start in 2 weeks, write to his GP, make a follow up apt for sometime in the future. A little vague, but hopefully have more accurate info when he receives copy of doctors letter.
Dropped him up to the pub, came home, rang car mechanic, heater still not working in the car. Then cider & The Chase. Picked him up again. Made dinner.

Just going up to bed.... "Don't forget my back"...... There was a response... "Okay, dear".... It was'nt that, exactly. :-)
