At last..........

After arriving for her blood transfusion at 9.00am (leaving home at 7.30) No.1 left the hospital at 6.00pm.  Delay upon delay, waiting for blood test (why when she only had one yesterday?!) and then waiting on the results, then waiting on the delivery of the blood (four hours?!). What is the point of being asked to attend at 9.00 when the actual transfusion does'nt start until 2.45pm.  She is a regular patient at RM, had a blood test yesterday (blood group DOES NOT change overnight) and then knew she was attending.  Anyway rant over, not point getting mad but it helps to write it down.

My day was waiting and waiting and not really being able to settle to anything.  Tearful, emotional and lost.  Why does such horrible things happen to such amazing, kind, wonderful beautiful people.  However we have to continue to put one foot in front of the other and keep on keeping on.  Here's hoping that the new blood will help her to feel better, increase her red count and perk her up a bit?
