Peaceful scene.

After taking the material for my outfit for grandson T's wedding to the dressmaker, I went to the common and enjoyed this view.
We had wonderful rain yesterday and last night.. the garden is happy and the rain tanks are full.
It's daughter Penni's birthday today so we had a long video chat with her, and I sent her this photo to remind her of the lovely place she'll be in a couple of weeks time. 
She loves birthdays and tonight will be celebrating with frienfs at a jazz bar/restaurant for dinner followed by drinks at the rooftop restaurant of the Ritz hotel, evidently with wondetful views of NYC. I am so envious!!
