Catching the rain.

We've had a wonderful day of rain which is most welcome after the past few hot days.
I placed my hanging baskets and containers where they could soak up the raindrops.
The dogs were booked for the Bark Park this morning but not long before we left there were a few claps of thunder and Pumpkin rushed to hide in a cupboard. She is really scared of loud noises. I cancelled because I wasn't sure how she'd react in the open field if there was more thunder.
A trip into town to deliver a parcel in pouring rain, followed by friends coming for afternoon tea, and that's been my day. Oh I did do some gardening in between showers!! Isn't it amazing how quickly weeds grow.
