JUST A LITTLE MORE SNOW

We got another two inches of fluff stuff last night; all pretty quickly melted by mid-day.  Plenty wet enough though to stick to all the trees.  Tonight the 3rd storm in a row will arrive.

Fortunately, it won't hit in earnest until 22:00 Hrs. so we'll be able to get in the basketball game tonight before the Fit hits the Shan.  Winds expected to ramp up slowly to 50mph (80+kph) or more and up to 10 inches (25cm) of snow coming along for the ride. Expected to last all day Friday and into Saturday morning with blizzard warnings possible. School tomorrow has already been called off.

Temperatures are falling steadily from 34°F. (1°C.) at the moment shortly after noon to -5°F. (-20.5°C) by the morning hours with wind chills expected to be in the -50°F. to -60°F.  range.  It's supposed to warm some 25°F. by mid afternoon so that is pretty tolerable if the wind dies down.  I'll need to be outside at Road America for Winter Autocross competition. I'll be dressed quite warmly and will also have a spare set of camera batteries in my inside pockets; will need to wear my balaclava to reduce wind burn on the cheeks.  I'll keep you posted.
