Green and gold

It feels like time for another Banksia photo. I photographed this Banksia integrifolia (Coastal Banksia) today at Angels Beach. I've blipped this species before, probably many times. It's one of the most common Banksias on the east coast, and was one of four Banksia species collected by Joseph Banks at Botany Bay in 1770. The name Banksia was not given by Banks himself, but some years later by the Swedish botanist Linnaeus.
