Bee-ware

I walked around Boulder Beach this morning, aiming to get back home before the day got too hot. A number of Rainbow Bee-eaters were busily looking for insects. They typically perch on an exposed dead branch and, when they spy a suitable insect, fly a loopy circular course, seize the insect and return to the perch. They are one of the most attractive of our local birds.
