The Edge of the Wold

Eyelashes

On my way back from Beverley on another unremittingly grey day, I stopped to have a look at the highlands in Worsendale.  Cows have long eyelashes that could excite the envy of many a teenage girl.  This bovine lady has particularly fine ones.

It was otherwise so uninspiring a day weather-wise that I didn't take my walk until the evening with a circuit round Braegate and the village in the dark, listening out for tawny owls and barn owls.

C has been busy much of the day preparing for her Qigong workshop tomorrow.  So I was delayed getting access to the computer to prepare this blip, and now it's late and I shall have to catch up tomorrow.
