Pink fringed petal hellebore

Not too bad a start to the weather but cloud gathered and by the time we got to Staunton Harold garden centre, it was gloomy and drizzly. I'm sure it was colder after we came out than when we went in.

Stunning primulas as you might expect and even a hellebore with red petals.

I've finally switched to the RAW setting on the xt-5 which is supposed to enable me to crop in close for images.

Extras are of the dismantled squirrel drey which the magpies have destroyed presumably to gather resources for building their nests. An intriguing feature is the long length of material hanging from the drey. Did the squirrels use a length of material to line the drey? The other extra is of the interior of the Peach House restaurant at Staunton Harold. The building used to be an outhouse for growing peaches. The shades on the ceiling were intended to stop the plants being burnt.
