Waiting….. at the waterfront….

…… early this morning. There was interesting cloud cover in the east. A man was sitting watching the world go by. A very low tide, but boats were still being launched off the nearby boat ramp.
I did a brisk 7km walk up the winding, and steep in parts, road to the summit known to regular users as the “Kaiteriteri Forest” sign. Margaret started out after me but ran the route. ( I used to run the route with friend Dawn many years ago, sometimes it seems like yesterday.) It was nice to meet several folk I have met over the years this morning. After our activity it was a day to chill out here at the camp.
