The Scene Below….

…… from the Coppins Track in the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park. Margaret and I walked this track this morning. It is a combined walking and mountain bike biking track. Walkers must give way to the bike riders. We covered nearly nine kilometers from our campsite and back to the Waterfront Cafe. I found it a bit challenging but we were fortunately in the shade most of the way. This afternoon we went swimming down at the beachfront. I have never known the sea to be so warm. Lots of folk in the water. High tide was just on the turn. Then we sat on the beach reading and of course, people watching. A great day to be here at Kaiteriteri.
