I wondered if there was an air display, or a mega explosion at the nearest airport, but it was just numerous jet trails against a crisp clear sky highlighting this tree. 
Extra: I noticed a stag in the supermarket car park. Luckily it was a 1975 Triumph Stag (top speed 116mph/187kph, 0-60mph/0-95.56kph in 9.3 seconds - not bad, even now.)
