Dundee

Had an appointment at Ninewells at 10am. K owing the difficulties getting parked we left at 8:45 even although it’s only a 20 drive away. We always wait in the line for the multi storey as at least you know there is a space. Eventually got one at 9:45.

After seeing my consultant I’ve to get a small procedure carried out with a local anaesthetic prob in an about a month time.

We the. Drove into the city centre and went to our favourite cafe , Empire State, great coffee and croissants from Wild Hearth! Had a chat with the ladies on the next table who were saying they go to Perth for their shopping now as Dundee has so many shops closing. I mean we do too but we still have a good few independents, on the streets round the High Street.

Had a walk which took us down by the V and A. Their tartan exhibition has just ended but they had a side exhibition by a Fashion Journalist which I really enjoyed . There were loads of art students inside the building with their pencils and notebooks and was interesting looking over their shoulder to see what they were doing .

Home for lunch then a bracing walk to finish of the walking goal for the day.

Crocheting and Yellowstone finished off the day.
