Right of way!

We had snow overnight and luckily it soon began to thaw and disappear, as I type it has now turned to rain.  This scene is just around the corner from my home; an unofficial lane that eventually leads to the Comber Road.  Here I was trying to include what was left of the snow and to keep it white and not a blue-grey, so I played around with metering.  I also noticed the colour of the algae on the fence and the differing colours in the vegetation.  My objective was to get all this in what is not a dramatic photograph.
