This slow group of walkers on a tuesday is just that, the slow but steady Tuesday walkers of Derbyshire Dales Ramblers. I've been intending to join them, but have missed a couple as, when I'm only walking a maximum of 6 miles, I'm reluctant to drive for an hour to the start. But this walk was local and only 4 miles long.

I knew some of them from a few years ago when I last walked with them, and it was good to catch up and meet some new members. I hadn't realised how much I'd missed walking with a group! My knee has curtailed walking with my own group, with only one walk in November since I stopped in August. I need to build the mileage back up and DDs (Derbyshire Dales) will enable me to do so sociably.
