cardinals in the snow

It snowed all day from midnight to 5 pm. I took this through the window in very poor light  because I didn't want to disturb them. Every time I go out with the camera this year everybody takes off. I used to be able to stand behind the well house and not spook them but for some reason the cardinals are now very spooky and I have not been able to do that. Also am posting in the morning after again . After exercising and shoveling the driveway twice yesterday ( and cleaning the upstairs ) I crashed after dinner. Didn't pick up the computer. And I really have to get serious looking for flights for April to visit my sister too.
