From the Study Window

A working day, at home with a view from the study window of the street where we live and the winter flowering scherry tree, which is in full bloom at the moment.  Considering we had thought about taking it out a few years ago, when it kept shedding leaves in early summer, it has come on in leaps and bounds since some judicious pruning.

I'd noticed the birds were coming across to it, from time to time and while I was hoping to catch one of the long-tailed tits I'd seen, in the end it was a blue tit that offered the best combination of focus and position.
