Criccin Cattle

WEDNESDAY

A busy morning with two 30 mile round trips to Northrop, back home for the Ocado delivery, fitting a new curtain pole and hanging some curtains in the spare bedroom and a bit of vacuuming.

Lunch out and a browse around Jackson's Boutique Garden Centre at Trelawnyd.

On the way home I stopped off at Criccin to photograph some highland cattle and the Criccin Cross (see extra) which is the remains of a late 13th or early 14th century octagonal cross shaft - a stub of stone set into a socketed plinth, stood stubbornly upon what is thought to be a natural mound.
