Mountains

I was really spoilt for choice with today's photos.

I pulled back the living room blinds to see the distant mountains of Eryri bathed in pink light from the morning's sunrise (see extra).

Late morning we headed off to the mountains under blue skies and brilliant sunshine. A superb lunch at the Alpine Cafe in the station buildings at  Betws y Coed and then on to Capel Curig where we ran into a hailstorm at the side of Llynnau Mymbyr (see extra). Then a short a drive up the A5 to Llyn Ogwen where I took the main Blipfoto.

Then over to Tregarth near Bangor for coffee and home-made scones with a relative.

Then a 50 minute journey home in rain and sleet to find the village under a couple of centimetres of snow.
