Life through the lens...

Celebration

It has been warmer, up to 6C but  the bitterly cold wind meant it felt really cold. Actually colder than when it was freezing.

Martin managed to finish the decorating about 2pm. Fortunately the new type of paint doesn't take as long to dry as the old oil based paint. Also it doesn't have that strong smell.
We are delighted with it all especially the doors.
Now to put everything back tomorrow

While he was decorating we went to book a very special event at Healds Hall, Liversedge.
It's not until the 21st April, but now we know everyone can make it we wanted to make sure there would be room as they get booked up quickly.
It is actually where we celebrated my mum's 90th Birthday, and Mr C's mum and dad's golden wedding anniversary.
Since then it has been extended and refurbished. We have had many wine club meetings there and the food and service is always excellent .

Hope you all stay safe as yet another storm heads our way.
