Colours .....

.... to survive the feeling of emptiness....

I received this story today from Gaza. I don't know them personally, but this is all the stories that deeply affect families, neighbours, friends and all in Gaza.

A mother with triplets aged four and her husband have to flee from the bombs and seeks refuge with her pregnant sister in Khan Younis. She is expecting the baby in short time. She lives with her husband, a son 14 years old and a daughter 10 years old.

No safe place. The house in Khan Younis is also bombed. Two of the triplets are killed. The pregnant sister's husband is killed, and she is badly injured and is evacuated to the hospital. The doctors take the baby out of the womb to save the baby's life.  The son lost one eye, and the daughter is physical unharmed.

After some weeks the mother dies in the hospital. . At the hospital, they get the baby out of the womb, but the mother dies after several weeks in the hospital. The baby's father is killed on the same day as the bombing. The 14-year-old son loses one eye and the 10-year-old daughter is unharmed.
Yesterday the sister died after weeks in the hospital and the baby has now lost both her parents.

The surviving sister is saying she no time to mourn her children, her sister or the sister's husband.  All daylight hours are spent finding food and water to the family to survive just one day more....
