Jay

I looked out of the window this morning and saw a Jay. I was quite surprised as it is almost two years since I saw one in the garden. Then I realised that there was actual two, so I am hoping that like in a previous year they will nest nearby. 
 
Today’s picture is of one of the Jays and the extra shows two although one is very much in the background. They were difficult to photograph as they kept moving about very quickly.
 
The temperature at noon today was ten degrees Celsius; it is very windy.
